Nicki Minaj has announced that she will experiment with new sounds for her next album and will feature her alter-ego Roman on most of the tracks.

The ‘Super Bass’ star revealed at the MTV VMAs that she will channel her favourite alter-ego who she first introduced on her debut LP ‘Pink Friday.’ Ms Minaj told The Daily Star: “My new album is going to feature a lot more of Roman, the gay guy who lives inside me. It won’t disappoint.”

Roman made his first appearance on ‘Roman’s Revenge,’ a track from Nicki’s album which featured Eminem. Nicki has been busy recently, recording her new album, touring with Britney Spears and releasing new single ‘Fly’ which is a collaboration with Rihanna.
